Photographer, and total nerd

Unsure where your next lead is coming from?

As a total nerd and wedding photographer, I’ve been soaking up everything I can about marketing a photography business for 5+ years.

I’ve built not only my own photography business but other people’s photography businesses too, and right now the most effective method of getting leads is Google Ads.

It doesn’t matter if you’re looking for more regular enquiries, wanting to ditch wedding fairs where you feel like a tick in a box rather than valued, or the wolves are at your door and coming for your business.

I can help you like I helped Simon pick up over 77 leads in 10 months. So if you’re sick of hustle culture, keep scrolling, because this might be just what you’re looking for.

One of the best things is how insightful this has been for me and my business. I can see what works now. I've found my voice.

What this is really about

Bookings, not just traffic.

I know this isn’t just about having a Google Ads campaign running. You’re looking for bookings. Not just more website traffic.

That’s why my process focuses as much on your website as it does the ad. Your business is made up of lots of little facets, so I don’t leave any of them out. That way this isn’t a wasted venture, but your new, dependable pipeline for bookings.

I don’t want you to think of this as “just” about an ad. This goes so much deeper. It’s mentoring. It’s coaching. It’s about stopping the anxiety that revolves around being a self-employed photographer.

It's time to end the starving artist routine.

Rod is an expert when it comes to Google Ads. What sets him apart though is that he consistently goes above and beyond. My bookings have doubled and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

The process

Six steps, start to finish.

01

A website review

I'll start with a screen-recorded review of your website, around 20 to 25 minutes. This is purely my own opinion on what could be improved.

02

Tracking in place

Next, I'll give you some code to add to your website so we can monitor the traffic from your ad as well as your organic traffic.

03

Building your ad

You add me to your Google Ads account and I start building everything out.

04

Live, and the six weeks begin

Once your ad goes live, I'll keep making as many changes as it needs to perform at its very best. It's only now that the six weeks starts.

05

Watching your website too

For the six weeks I'm monitoring your ad, I'll also monitor your website traffic, so the data can tell us what needs improving on your site.

06

A running ad, left with you

As we come to a close, my goal is to leave you with a running ad that brings high quality traffic to your site on an ongoing basis. Throughout, if you need to chat, we'll arrange one.

So, who am I?

Hey! I'm Roderick Alan. Just call me Rod.

I’m a 39-year-old nerd with ADHD who loves Lego, Star Wars, photography and, well, marketing.

I’ve been a wedding photographer for over 11 years now and I’ve loved every second of it. However, back in 2017, it looked like my time in the industry was at an end.

I had 3 weddings booked in. You and I both know that isn’t enough to sustain a business, so I was facing the very real prospect of having to shut up shop.

So I got stuck in and learnt how to market my business. Now I’m here to give you a chance to bypass years of learning, and the thousands of pounds of investing in training AND bad ads, so you can skip ahead to the good bit: an inbox filling up with enquiries!

Honestly guys, it's the best money I've ever spent. Trust is a huge factor when you're a one-man band like myself, and you can trust this guy to knock it out of the park, because it matters to him, you matter to him and the future of your business matters to him!

What's the cost?

£945

One-off fee

My aim has always been that a single booking coming from your ads should more than recover your investment in me, and then each one thereafter is profit for you.

Ad spend isn’t included and can vary, but I’ll always aim to find a balance that works for you and makes sure the ads bring in results. I’d typically advise investing no lower than £10 a day, otherwise you’re just waiting even longer for results.

“

Rod has been an absolute game-changer for my business. In the last two months I've had more enquiries than I'd usually get in a year, and it's all thanks to his no-nonsense approach to marketing and website design. I couldn't recommend him more.
